Mission Partnership

Our investment model goes far beyond financial support.

We seek to build deep partnerships with our mission partners, creating a hands-on, teamwork-based approach that enables partner organizations to grow and learn from one another and to take advantage of Bright Pink’s decade of experience in breast and ovarian health.

Personalized Support

Once a Mission Partner is chosen and a project is kicked off, we go all-in to support program design, implementation, and evaluation. We work with Mission Partners to develop a detailed, personalized plan and utilize our past assets and tools, along with our connections and network, to create the support necessary for implementing the project.

Cohort Structure

We invest in multiple organizations at once and support them in parallel because we know that shared knowledge and experience, for both our Mission Partners and ourselves, will provide a foundation for stronger, more robust health interventions. Bringing organization leaders together on a regular basis allows for camaraderie, utilization of one another’s expertise and an opportunity for learning and discussion. As we invest in new cohorts and continue to grow our venture philanthropy model, we hope that this cohort structure will enable a powerful and dynamic source of mentorship.

Since investing in our inaugural cohort, we have invested over $150,000 worth of in-kind capacity-building support to strengthen our Mission Partners and the initiatives we have co-designed and funded. This support includes:

  • Bright Pink collaborates with Mission Partners to strategically design and iterate on initiative plans, ensuring continuous input from team members, board members, and relevant connections. This dynamic process involves regular check-ins for updates and adaptations as needed.

  • Formed over more than a decade of work in the space, our extensive network of leaders in breast and ovarian health, corporate partners, public and private sphere professionals, and foundations is made accessible to Mission Partners, fostering strategic partnerships and expert advice.

  • We provide workshops and training modules to help Mission Partners manage programs effectively, build essential skills, and ensure long-term organizational success. Topics include fundraising strategies, branding, marketing, and board relations.

  • Our cohort model promotes knowledge sharing, camaraderie, and peer support. Formal cohort gatherings and informal cohort connections facilitate advice and shared learning, multiplying the impact of each Mission Partnership.

  • Bright Pink's extensive collection of educational and outreach materials as well as our decade of experience in building and implementing interventions is available for Mission Partners to learn and draw inspiration from as they work to build their own materials.
