Position Summary:

The role of Bright Pink’s (“BP’s”) Development Manager is to develop, execute, evaluate, and optimize BP’s peer-to-peer fundraising strategies utilizing this entry point as a pipeline to individual, ongoing support of Bright Pink. The Development Manager is responsible for building relationships in the community and inspiring individuals to support the mission of BP through Team Bright Pink, 3rd Party Fundraising, and events as needed, leading individuals into deeper levels of engagement and support.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead peer-to-peer fundraising efforts to achieve annual and monthly revenue goals
  • Facilitate pipeline development for integration of 3rd Party and Team Bright Pink participants into annual giving program
  • Actively identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective 3rd Party hosts, Team Bright Pink athletes and supporters, with a focus on retention and acquisition
  • Plan and execute peer-to-peer fundraising events
  • Manage pre-event, day of, and post-event planning
  • Lead participant recruitment for peer-to-peer events
  • Measure, evaluate, analyze, and refine recruitment and fundraising strategies to enhance participation and revenue
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for peer-to-peer fundraising activities, 3rd Party events, and Girls Gone RX program
  • Identify new markets and optimal partnerships to expand BP’s fundraising through 3rd Party events and Team Bright Pink initiatives
  • Launch, maintain, evaluate, and optimize online 3rd Party fundraising tools
  • Work with Programs and Engagement team to build campaigns for 3rd Party revenue and to cross pollinate promotional efforts
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with event-related vendors
  • Conduct post-event follow up to influence future approach
  • Collaborate with Programs and Engagement team to support planning and execution of signature events and peer-to-peer fundraisers
  • Organize and maintain data in Salesforce related to events, Team Bright Pink athletes, and 3rd Party fundraising
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders for continued engagement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising or sales position
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Classy, Crowdrise, and other fundraising portals a plus

Status: Full time. Exempt from the provisions of wage and salary regulations.
