Position Title:  Corporate Partnerships Manager 

Department(s): Programs & Engagement

Reports To: Vice President of Brand & Experience

Position Summary:

The role of Bright Pink’s (“BP’s”) Corporate Partnerships Manager (“Manager”) is to oversee the development, growth, and management of Bright Pink’s corporate partnerships. This portfolio of philanthropic support is comprised of mid-to-large sized companies who champion our mission 1) externally through brand communications, cause-marketing, and digital campaigns, and/or 2) internally through employee education and fundraising initiatives.

The Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing collaborations that are mutually beneficial to Bright Pink and its partners by delivering upon key organizational objectives of increased brand awareness, programmatic engagement, and funds raised as well as tangible measurable impact and national recognition of goodwill for our partners. We’re looking for someone who is a master at managing multiple priorities and deliverables with ease, excels in relationship development, and works extremely collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop strategies to expand BP’s cause marketing portfolio by developing corporate prospecting plans and sales materials and lead pitch presentations to secure additional partners
  • Manage the entire partnership life-cycle from pitching to planning, execution, evaluation, to renewal and general account management
  • Build new corporate partnerships with a focus on raising unrestricted revenue.
  • Develop overall pitch approaches that can be leveraged across all new business activity
  • Portfolio management inclusive of planning, activation, reporting and ongoing stewardship
  • Manage day-to-day communications with external stakeholders via email, phone, and in-person meetings
  • Develop and project manage all partnership activation plans including fundraising/giving structure, joint marketing/communications, staff/sales/ambassador training and onsite/experiential
  • Develop partner-specific KPIs and provide ongoing monitoring to ensure the campaign delivers on BP’s strategic objectives and corporate partner’s expectations
  • Project manage the development of creative/communication assets with internal and agency creative resources to support partnership activation
  • Maintain all partnership account tracking via CRM system (salesforce) including records of engagements, payment history and other relevant data
  • Prepare VP of Brand & Experience, CEO, and other stakeholders for meetings and other interactions with sponsors
  • Meet with VP of Finance and Operations bi-weekly to update revenue forecasts
  • Manage partnership payment schedule in collaboration with accounting department to ensure timely receipt of sponsorship fees
  • Prepare and equip Bright Pink ambassador training for partner event on-site staffing; work with Brand and Community Engagement Manager to source, train and collect reports from ambassadors
  • Track/capture activation elements throughout; Create wrap-up reports for partner relationships, documenting progress towards KPIs and quantitative and qualitative impact demonstrating ROI
  • Create innovative stewardship strategies to engage executive level supporters at partner organizations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Passion and commitment to Bright Pink’s mission and values
  • 5-7 years of experience in progressively responsible positions, with significant not-for-profit corporate partnership and cause marketing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in cause-related fundraising, business development, sales, marketing, digital promotions and communications; experience developing successful cause marketing campaigns that drive revenue and brand awareness
  • Ability to work effectively and gain the respect of various constituencies including senior corporate executives and decision makers
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
  • Track record as an effective communicator, speaker, listener
  • Excellent judgment, comfort with risk-taking and non-routine work
  • Ability to work well in highly matrixed, complex environment
  • An individual with strong people skills and demonstrated team player
  • Demonstrated comfort with soliciting donations and strong negotiating skills
  • Startup experience preferred
