Ready to get involved or take action? Here’s what you can to do be proactive about your own breast and ovarian health or help other women do the same.
Make Your Move
Whether you want to give back to others or make sure you’re taking care of yourself, the opportunities to make a difference are endless.
Collect your Family History
Breast and ovarian cancer are often linked in families, and it’s important to know your family health history—this is the first step when it comes to understanding your own level of risk. Find out which relatives—on both your mother and father’s sides—have had cancer of any kind, which types, and how old they were when diagnosed.
Assess Your Risk
After you’ve collected your family history, figure out your own personal risk level with Bright Pink’s tool. If you have already assessed your risk, make sure that the other women in your life know to do the same!
